1. Introduction

AMS Administration Ltd, trading as MusicLegal.co.uk, is fully committed to preventing acts of modern slavery and human trafficking from occurring within its business and supply chains.

We recognise our responsibility under the Modern Slavery Act 2015 to act ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships. We are dedicated to implementing and enforcing systems and controls that ensure modern slavery is not taking place anywhere in our operations or in those of our suppliers, contractors or partners.

2. Our Business and Structure

Our services include music law support, artist management consultancy, contract assistance and partnership coordination with carefully vetted third-party professionals.

Although we operate within a low-risk sector for modern slavery, we acknowledge that no business is immune from potential exploitation, particularly where subcontractors, suppliers or partner organisations are involved.

3. Our Approach and Commitment

We take a zero-tolerance approach to slavery, servitude, forced labour and human trafficking.

Our commitment is to:

  • Conduct business in a manner that respects human rights.
  • Ensure transparency in our own operations and those of our supply chain.

Where new suppliers or contractors are engaged, we conduct checks to ensure they operate ethically and comply with all relevant employment and human rights laws.

5. Due Diligence and Risk Management

We take proportionate steps to identify and mitigate the risk of modern slavery in our operations and supply chain. These include:

  • Reviewing supplier relationships to ensure compliance with ethical standards.
  • Including anti-slavery clauses in contracts and supplier agreements where appropriate.
  • Avoiding the use of any suppliers who are unable to demonstrate compliance.
  • Ensuring recruitment practices are fair, transparent and free from coercion.

We monitor our supply chain relationships regularly to identify emerging risks and take prompt action where necessary.

6. Training and Awareness

We promote awareness of modern slavery among our team through regular communication and access to training resources.

Team members are made aware of:

  • The signs of modern slavery and human trafficking.
  • How to raise concerns safely and confidentially.
  • The company’s ethical responsibilities under the Modern Slavery Act.

We also encourage open discussion around ethical conduct and supply chain responsibility across all areas of our business.

7. Policies and Reporting

  • A Code of Conduct outlining expected standards of professional behaviour.
  • A Complaints Policy that provides a clear and confidential process for raising concerns.
